Where the Road Bends
Newsletter
This is where I share lessons and learnings about transition, burnout, healing, and midlife. I write about my own journey and what I’ve discovered working with others navigating similar terrain.
About Where the Road Bends
Where the Road Bends is home for people navigating change and wondering what’s next. Most of what I write speaks to the moment when something no longer fits—the job, the identity, the relationship, the pace, the stories we’ve told ourselves. These essays explore what begins to stir when our sense of self changes or life begins to unravel, and what it means to slow down, reorient, and listen more closely to the voice within.
The writing is shaped by my own lived experience—sobriety, fatherhood, burnout, stepping away from toxic ambition—and by years of walking alongside others as they navigate turning points of their own. The connecting thread is a deep curiosity about change and a longing to live with more clarity, presence, and meaning.
I write to explore who I’m becoming, unearth new meaning, connect to what’s alive inside me, and share these learnings with those who are undergoing their own seasons of change. It’s both a practice and an offering, a way to make sense of transition while sharing with readers on similar paths.
This offering has evolved into a space for reflection. To help me and you tune inward. To help us move through transition and change with more intention and less urgency. If you’re in the middle of your own season of change, I hope you feel at home here.
